Dream Tales - or where are the Tales from? 

I 'm a Fairy Tale Fan. 

I love Fairy Tales, 

I loved Fairy Tales and probably 

I will love Fairy Tales 'till I die. 

It was a Wonder - ful, magical time, when my Grandparents 

where telling me the Tales of the princes. 

I loved the moment when the dwarfs appeared, I snuggled under the blanket, when the wicked stepmother knocked at the door, with the poisoned apple in her hand… 

And the czech Old Nick, when he occured at the Tales with his hoof, whipping his tail making a sound like the bullwhips, I could smell the burnt - I don't know what that was, but I could smell it … 

And than I fell asleep. 

And I took the Tales with me, or was it the other way around? 

I rambeled through the Fairy Tales, some of them where funny, an enjoyable adventure and some of them where frightening as hell. 

I remember one Dream, even if I don't really know if it was a Dream or not.

I woke up because there was a noise, something like if someone would scratch with a hoof over the floor, very s l o w - and as I woke up, there was this smell again, like something' s burned. 

I was so alarmed, I could not switch on the light… 

I was soaked to my bones … 

hiding under my blanket, trying not to breath, 

to afraid this "whateverthatwas" could find me, and eat me alive… 

I can't remember how long I was lying under my cover, or if I to tiered fell asleep, …

 

I know that this terrifying moment etched on my memory for over 35 Jears. 

And I'm so glad, that I, as a creative Artist, have the option to transform this experience dispatched into a story  -  where this Monster will be going through a metamorphosis, and also I,  at the end.   

And the metamorphosis is the secret we are all going through all the times in our lives. 

The Myths & Fairy Tales coming through our Dreams - our deepest I,  guide us. 

That's what they did, that's what they do - and hopefully thats's what they will do in our Future.
